Wardrobe Secrets with Marcia Whittaker from Wellingborough.

For us, the wardrobe is the most interesting part of a bedroom, and we want to know what is hidden in the depths of yours,

She said: “I like to have a lot of choice in my wardrobe, I like to be able to mix and match items to create new outfits and keep up to date with fashion that way, I think that’s the best way.

“I always like to get the accessories to match an outfit too, so I’ll get some shoes and jewellery and so on.

“I mostly wear black as I feel comfortable in it but I think I add to that with my accessories or an animal print cardigan or something like that.

“I have a couple of items in my wardrobe that are more bold but I have always liked black.

“I have a lovely strapless black dress black dress from Simply Be, I get that catalogue because I have size nine, sometimes 10 feet and I struggle to get shoes that size on the High Street but they have a good selection of shoes to choose from in my size.

“I shop from the catalogue and on the High Street, I like to combine the two.

“My favourite shops are Matalan and New Look, both of them are good for bigger sizes and are more fashionable and a good price so they tick all the boxes.

“I’m quite good at having regular wardrobe clear-outs though, I have one about every six months, and if I haven’t worn something since the last clear out, I put it in a charity bag and get rid of it.

“The one thing I bought which I wish I hadn’t is a pair of pale pink flat shoes long white dresses , I haven’t worn them yet as I got them home and thought they are just not me.
